Should i try and make the first move? If so, how????Please help!?

Ok, So ive been liking this boy for a while and idk if he has the same feelings??(well i went with him to the dance, he said he cared for me, said i was pretty, etc stuff thats sweet) but like idk if i should make the first move cuz its a lil obvious that we both kinda like each other(oh and his sister was like, "my brother likes you because he was talking to our mom and she asked him if he liked you, and he said yes")but the only reason why i wanna make the first move is because, i dont think he's that type of person to do that cuz i've been likin him for a while and he knew it. And if i dont ask him i'll wind up regreting stuff! Ugh can someone please help me, im so confused! thank you soo much! and best answer 10 pointss!
