Ringworm turned white???? help?

Ok, so, I had this little red circular dry patch of skin on my leg which i assumed was ringworm. it was very flaky and red and itchy. i started using some sort of dry skin moisturizer on it and it's not very flaky anymore or itchy and now, the patch of skin is white. like white white. did i lose pigmentation? was it because of the moisturizer? how can i fix it??? help????
