How do I put liquid eyeliner at the bottom of my eye?

i dont like putting eyeliner at the top because it just doesnt fit me...but i love how it looks on me at the bottom but i put the liquid eyeliner like not on the skin/outside part of the bottom of my eye but i put it on the pink lashline (idk wht its called) soo..is that okay?? because once i tried putting it on the skin part and its hard to make a fine line....so this is my only solution to put it on ihe pinkish part...please helppp? my mom said its not good to put it there but i dont know what else to do... thanks! :)
